Jim & Mary Jasper began speaking for WSEG at the tail end of 2004. They are now bringing the knowledge of how to be safe to all the women of the greater Phoenix area.

A question for the Women of Arizona:

Do you know how to protect yourself?

Our women's seminar is a unique and comprehensive program, containing safety and self-defense information and training designed to empower women in fun, skill-based, interactive modules. Our philosophy is that because we live in an ever-changing world, women need to educate themselves with more defensive strategies to ensure personal safety.

Our program is called How to Effectively Protect Yourself and covers crime and rape statistics, how to use your voice to fend off attackers, how to get out different holds or grabs and information on date rape and date rape drugs for high school and college women.  Don't bury your head in the sand! Let us teach you, your friends, co-workers, and loved ones how to protect themselves.

The techniques of self -defense are simple to learn and very easy to use.  The women in your group will be shown how to put down any man with just some simple strategies and incredible pressure point techniques.  One is called the magic button and when you touch someone there, they have no choice but to go down quickly.  All of our safety and self-defense techniques including different statements to yell, and all of the self-defense techniques are given to each participant.

QUALITY DEFENSE PRODUCTS AT REASONALBE PRICES
Despite a natural tendency to go about our daily lives, more and more people, especially women, are beginning to realize they must protect themselves; that is it's no longer enough to "park under the street lamps," or "avoid walking alone at night." There is a growing realization that we all must assume the responsibility for our own safety. For many the first logical step is the purchase of a defense spray.

Defense products make thoughtful, useful gifts for loved ones, office personal or even as corporate gifts.

If you have a son or daughter who works at night or goes to college wouldn't you want the peace of mind that they have protection with them at all times? Do you have a mother who lives alone, or a sister? Wouldn't you want them to be able to defend themselves against an assailant? Many husbands are in the military, or travel for business. Does your wife have protection while you are away? What about you? There are many options available: we have locks, alarms, defense sprays, stun guns, and tasers. All are safe. Even if used in error, no one gets permanently injured! (No innocent by-stander killed by a stray bullet, no kid accidentally shot because he found your secret hiding place.)

About WSEG

I have always wanted to be a public speaker. I took speaker training a few years ago and wanted to find a way I could do something with socially redeeming value

I started teaching safety seminars in late February, 2004. I felt there was a need to teach a safety program to women on the West Coast so I created a network of speakers here, and we've been expanding ever since.

I am dedicated to taking this message to as many women as I can and will speak for free to groups of 20 or more. I sell pepper spray to fund my efforts and I do get some corporate donations.  My intention is to stop violent crimes against women and I feel that empowering women through education is a key part of this process.
