HELP WOMEN, CHILDREN AND DISABLED LIVING IN SUB-POVERTY

Want to end the cycle of poverty in your lifetime?
Do you feel that this problem is so great that there is no answer?
If there was a solution, would you get involved?

Did you know that most of the world population that lives in sub-poverty are women, children and disabled?

Many of them spend their lives in a never ending cycle of exploitation and poverty. Many work in sweat shops, earning pennies a day for their mass labor. Others just go hungry and forgotten in their societies.

In some cultures, women can't work publicly because men, especially married men with families, get the outside jobs. Even thought these women may be widows, they are still left out in the cold with nothing but their small handcrafts to support themselves.

Orphans, if not exploited into slavery, are also left to fend for themselves, living off of garbage and sleeping in the streets. As for the disabled, they are just considered totally "useless" in their society and left to hopefully die.

This information is the truth, but it is not the end of the story.

There is a solution to this situation. It has existed for a long time, but little known in the United States. This solution is accepted and utilized around the world in an ever growing community called: FAIR TRADE.

We at Womens Future Benefit offer that solution to women, children and disabled living forgotten in sub-poverty throughout the world.

We are a 501c3 nonprofit, and our community is in 36 countries around the world.

We offer a solution to ending the cycle of poverty and exploitation of these people, who deserve a better life. Through Fair Trade, we are working to change their lives permanently and enabling them to become self supporting.

If you are not familiar with Fair Trade and would like to learn more, this Lens is for you. We will be updating it frequently with new information. If you would like to learn even more, and faster, please visit our website. We offer free educational materials and links and resources into Fair Trade.

Kathryn Elsayed

President/CEO/Founder

As the voice of Womens Future Benefit, I want you to understand how dear this Project is to my heart. As a woman, I want to be a major change in the world I live in. That is why our Project helps those who can least compete: women, children and disabled. Women are the majority of the world population, but are treated the worst. We are the nurturers, caretakers, the gentleness and kindness that shines throughout. We are also the sweat laborer, the trafficked, the enslaved. We are hidden, abused and forgotten in poverty. It is my dream to be part of the end of the cycle of poverty for those we help. It is my hope to give back to the world what has been given me. I hope you will help me with my Dream and Hope.
