I love to paint. My mother passed along her woodburning tool to me years ago. I combine those two things to make beautiful trinket boxes, magnets, wall plaques and unique home decor items.

Where you can find my items

I have provided some examples of my work here. My items can usually be found primarily on Etsy and eBay, though I have to go through what I have now that I've moved.

Everything I sell is consolidated into clickable lists on AliciaMae.com!

Celtic knotwork box

I woodburned a celtic knot heart and celtic knotwork on a 7x4x3.5 (lxwxh) inch box. I painted the inside of the box, the heart, and the knotwork dark green, the rest of the box white, and added silver to the outline of the heart.
This box is one of a kind!

Woodchip magnets

Yin Yang still available!

I woodburn and paint ~3 inch woodchips and then glue magnetic strips onto the back. A beautiful triquetra/trinity knot is in my sold items gallery. I hope to make another celtic one soon, but I have 2 yin yang magnets available.
You can find them on Etsy and eCrater.

Celtic trinket box

I woodburned a trinity knot/triquetra onto the lid of a 3x3x2 inch (lxwxh approximate) pine box. I then painted the inside light green, the outside white, and the triquetra/celtic knot dark green with black accent.

Night sky trinket boxes

The picture you see is of the natural pine background box I woodburned and painted a night sky onto. I also have dark blue versions and moons without clouds, as well as a glasstop trinket box with the clouds inside. The boxes are small, with measurements on either side being between 2 and 3.5 inches (each is different).

Glasstop butterfly trinket boxes

These boxes have butterflies woodburned on them and then were painted white, pink, and purple. There is a see through glass top on each. Approximately 3.5x2.5".

Faith in Miracles

I woodburned a phoenix with small corner enhancements and tribal style flames on a 6x4x2.5 (lxwxh) inch box. I painted the phoenix lavender coated with silver, the flames red with orange tone and the rest of the box white. I adhered metal embellishments, a rusty gold 3/4 inch "faith" on the top of the box and a reddish copper toned "expect miracles" in the inside of the lid.
This trinket box is one of a kind!

Celtic knotwork heart wall plaque

Wood type: Pine
Plaque size: 8 inches x 10 inches

I burned the celtic knotwork heart and then painted the plaque with acrylics. It has been sprayed down with an acrylic sealer to enhance and protect the color. The edges are beveled and I have attached a metal picture hanger to the back to make for easy mounting.

Daffodils wall plaque

Plaque size: 8×10
Wood type: pine

The design was burned and then painted with acrylics. The entire piece is coated with an acrylic sealer to enhance and protect the design. The edges of the plaque are beveled. I nailed a metal hanger to the top of the back to make for easy wall mounting.

Glasstop night sky trinket box

I woodburned and painted a 3.5x2x2 (lxwxh approximately) inch pine box with a brass colored clasp on the front and see through glass top. It is sprayed down with an acrylic sealer to enhance and protect the color. The clouds inside and the moon's eye have silver accents, the stars are two tone yellow.

Pink heart trinket box

I woodburned and painted a 3.5x2x2 (lxwxh) inch pine box with a silver colored clasp on the front. It is sprayed down with an acrylic sealer to enhance and protect the color. The inside measurements are approximately 3x1.5x1 inches. The box is a pink color except for the heart design on the top and a smaller heart design in the inside of the lid.

SOLD!

Strawberry trinket box

I woodburned and painted a 3x3x1.5 (lxwxh measured in the middle) inch box with a clasp on the front. It is sprayed down with an acrylic sealer to enhance and protect the color. The strawberry and it's leaves are shaded, the seeds are woodburned and painted on as well. The rest of the box is white.

Rustic 6 drawer tabletop box

This was an unfinished wood box I purchased years ago that I finally wood burned and painted recently. It has six drawers each measuring 3" x 1 3/4" and almost 3 1/2" deep. The box's overall measurements are 7" tall, 7 1/4" wide, and 3 1/2" deep. There are violets on the top, irises on the right side, and a daisy with leaves on the lower left side of the box.
