This lens is a compilation of links and information about various woodturning guilds, associations, and clubs. Organizations like these are a great source of information and inspiration. From the novice turner looking for advice and "how to" from more experienced turners to the expert turner looking for a peer group with whom to share expertise and ideas, this lens should get you started in the right direction. Find a local group in your area, or browse the sites of all of the groups listed here.
This is not a comprehensive list of all guilds and clubs. I add links as I happen to find them. If your organization is not listed here, please contact me and provide the name of your organization and the URL to your website. - Bay Area Woodturners Association
- San Francisco, East Bay area association of woodturners informational site. Includes galleries, links and group and meeting information.
- Chicago Woodturners Club
- Located in the Suburban Chicago Area, provides a forum to promote the art and craft of woodturning through education, information and community programs.
- Coulee Region Woodturners
- CRW is a regional chapter of the American Association of Woodturners, and serves Southwest Wisconsin, Eastern Minnesota, and NE Iowa.
- Antelope Valley Woodturners Association
- A local American Association of Woodturners chapter serving areas NE of Los Angeles to educate and share the craft with others.

- The Society of Ornamental Turners
- Providing information on the subject of ornamental turning both to society members and to newcomers to the craft.
- East Surrey Woodturners
- Club formed in 1995 to promote the craft of woodturning in the East Surrey and North Kent areas of Great Britain.
- Merseyside Woodturners Association
- Provides a means for interaction between members and promotes woodturning.
- Doncaster Woodturning Club

- Forest of Bere Woodturners Association
- Offers information on monthly meetings, social events, guest speakers, and competitions. Located in Denmead, Hampshire UK.
- Northern Federation of Woodturning Groups
- Comprised of 37 clubs its focus is to bring woodturning clubs together. Provides information on the UK woodturning scene.
- West Pennine Woodturners
- Offers monthly meetings with events as well as galleries and craft fair schedules. Based in Norden.
- High Peak Woodturners
- Website of woodturning club which meets monthly in Hazel Grove, Stockport, UK. Syllabus, articles, crossword, cartoon.
- Cornwall Association of Woodturners
- UK based group of turners located near Truro. Site includes gallery of members work, articles and tips on woodturning.
- Lincolnshire Association of Woodturners
- The mission of the club is to promote the art of woodturning, to bring together local turners, to develop skills, and to have fun! Meetings take place on the third Monday of every month at Cranwell village hall at 7.30 pm.

- Valley Woodturners
- Club website for the Valley Woodturners, Ottawa. Includes monthly newsletter, members' gallery, activities, competition news and useful links to other sites.
- L'Association des Tourneurs sur Bois du Québec
- This site is in French.
- Avalon Woodturners Guild
- We are a group of about thirty men and women from the Avalon Peninsula of Newfoundland, Canada. What we have in common is an interest in fellowship and learning more about woodturning. The guild has been in existence since 1996. We meet every second Wednesday from September to May inclusive at Mill Lane Enterprises on Water Street, St. John's, from 8:00 to 10:30 pm. Dues are a paltry $25 per year. Meetings consist of a 1/2 hour business meeting, show and tell, bring back raffle, coffee break and then a woodturning demonstration or video.
- Calgary Woodturners Guild
- The Calgary Woodturners Guild is a non-profit woodturning club serving Calgary and Southern Alberta. The Calgary Woodturners Guild is a local chapter of the American Association of Woodturners.
- Fraser Valley Woodturner's Guild

- The Kawartha Woodturners Guild (KWG) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of woodturning. - Pacific Woodworkers Guild

- West Island Woodturners
