We've all heard the saying before, a picture is worth 1,000 words. But is it true?
Is A Picture Worth 1,000 Words?
Really?
Probably not. In some cases 1,000 words would be far too many. In other cases 1,000 words may fall pitifully short. The words to convey the emotions inspired become elusive. Perhaps even pointless, as they might not even exist.
What a concept, conveying a message at the speed of thought. With this in mind, let's have some fun...
I've posted some examples of Fine Art Photography. After absorbing these images recall your response. Was it a flood of thoughts and emotions? Or would a few precisely chosen words be a better fit?
This lens will showcase framed prints of Fine Art Photography that are available at my online boutique: WORD1001 - The final word in Fine Art Photography & Prints.
I will also feature works by some of my favorite, fellow photographer / shopkeepers offering their Fine Art Photography through CafePress.
These artists are hand selected. They inspire me to become a better artist, a better photographer, one that truly creates images that are worth 1,000 words.
I could be intimidated by these fellow photographers / artists, but I'm not. That would be a mistake. I admire their work, and strive to attain the level of craftsmanship these gifted individuals possess. My goal is to be considered as a peer.

This photo was shot number 246. It was taken within the first few days of using my first digital camera, a Panasonic, Lumix DMC-FZ30.
Selective masking and de/colorizing with software were then performed on the image. Composition is as shot.
