Words Of Inspiration

Dear Friends: I offer these words of inspiration to lift you up on your spiritual journey. So often we allow life to beat us down, and we forget the ability we have as humans to both inspire and be inspired.

Being inspired by words, music, love, nature, etc., brings out the best in each of us. To be inspired is to open the door to the creative juices instilled in each one of us just waiting to flow. To possess and understand the concept of inspiration is a knowing of who you are and being aware of all God created you to be. And as you look inside your heart at all the beauty, the gifts and talents God has placed there, it is my prayer that you would offer words of inspiration to others, just as the scripture above relates to us that we should follow after the things that make for peace, and things by which we can lift up one another. To offer words of inspiration to others, to give of ourselves and our time, sharing our lives, is truly a sacrifice of love.

This has been a beautiful revelation for me. In darkness and distress I have come to know the Lord and love Him. I am grateful in ways that I cannot with words express that He came and saved me. He has been a faithful friend when none could be found. Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice, and by His blood we are saved, forgiven and healed. For those that believe in Him there is great peace and unconditional love. And because of Jesus' sacrifice for even me, it has become my life's desire, a deep and abiding passion, to share that love with others.

At a time in my own life when I was ready to give up, He came and lifted me up. The Creator of the Universe visited my life and gave me a new song to sing. Through my sorrow and heartache He birthed a compassion for the needs and struggles of others. I have reached out to Him in faith and trust, waited patiently for His way and not mine, depended solely on His guidance and divine instruction, thus I have been blessed beyond measure. Scripture says in 1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. For to be humbled under the mighty hand of God, and submit to the glorious will He has for our lives, the beautiful plan He had for us from the beginning, is wonderfully life-changing. I have been shown that many have thrown away their confidence and given up on themselves. But I now know of a surety that if God can take the brokenness and loss of my life and use it for good, He can and will do the same for others.

Scripture says in Romans 12:10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; so as you experience the richness that is in Christ in your own life, may you be inspired to share yourself with others. To care for others, to put their feelings above our own, forsaking selfishness and self-seeking behaviors, this is acceptable and praiseworthy with God. Many are hurting and many are wounded. Many are looking for someone to befriend them. And so very many could accomplish great things if they could believe in themselves and understand they are a pearl of great price, divinely gifted, uniquely created by God, and filled to overflowing with His love. They need only be shown the way.

I exhort you today, my friends, to look around you and find someone to touch with God's love today. You never know when words of inspiration spoken in kindness, or instruction given with a caring spirit, will motivate someone to their own life-changing experience.
