- though I'm not a work at home mom, I find this lens helpful to those mom who want to work at home or maybe some home business. Very informative and entertaining too (those dancing letters, lol!)

Founded by Seth Godin who is a marketing guru and respected author, Squidoo is a platform where you can make single page websites that are focused on a specific topic or niche. It is easy to use and allows you to use plug-in modules like Amazon and Ebay to make you money as you build lens about things that interest you.

STOP and think of all the ways you can use this Squidoo platform to earn more money and turn it into a way for you to stay at home with the children. As you build more and more lenses, you will get better at it.
- Picture yourself five years from now if you build only 1 lens a day for 5 years.
- That's 365 days x 5 years or 1825 lenses.
- Now, if each lens only earned you 2 dollars a month, that would be $3650.00 per month.
Each lens takes you about 15 minutes to 1 hour to build depending on your skill level (which will increase with each lens you build) and tenacity. That figure is if you build only one lens a day. Until I found Squidoo, I had interests that I didn't want to build a whole website around. I think, because I'm a freelance writer, I am always writing about what's going on in the world around me. So, you'll find that my lenses cover a ton of different things. I've only recently stated categorizing them under various names in order to get all of the topics together.
In my wide variety of topics, others seem to like the microcosm of information that I provide versus a large, unwieldy website to navigate. My lenses all seem to get a fair amount of traffic, and at the end of the month I get extra money in my Paypal to help make ends meet.
Don't ya know it - my job was "downsized", and I took to writing freelance on a full-time basis a couple of months ago. I also started expanding and honing my skills with building Squidoo lenses. In return, my monthly income has gone up.
Of all the jobs I've picked up online, building Squidoo lenses has been the most interesting! When people give you feedback, it's great to see that they liked your creation.
On the scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best, I would give Squidoo lens buidling a 25 - at the very least.
If you're looking for a fun way to make some extra loot, definitely consider getting hooked on Squidoo. There are modules for Amazon, eBay, CafePress and more, plus payment for Adsense clicks. They all pay you. You build lenses about what you like and Squidoo pays you more and more each month for your interests and perspective.
