Why REAL Typing Jobs Are So Hard To Find...

A single search in Google for "paid typing job" or "online typing job" reveals thousands upon thousands of sites, all of them promising to provide the user with typing and survey jobs that pay hundreds (and even thousands) a day for unskilled workers!

Is this really true? Your gut feeling tells you "No!" - and you're right. Making money by just typing a few words is not quite as easy as many of these sites would make you think. In fact, it is a whole lot more than that is involved here...

Why Would Someone Pay You To Type?

One can understand highly skilled professionals paying highly skilled typists money to perform regaular and daily chores that they are too busy to perform. For example, legal secretaries who type out contracts.

However, that's a skilled position that takes a lot of work! On the other hand, here's someone promising you money for virtually unskilled typing at your own hours at your own leisure. Clearly, either you, or that legal secretary are being lied to!

Why Someone Might Pay You To Type:

The only reason someone would pay you to type is because they make more from your typing than you do! It's as simple as that. With each site that you see such a claim, you need to analyze how they make their money. Is it by charging you money to "secret" information that will allow you to do so? In most of these cases, just 'X out' the site, and never return. If someone could really make $1500+ just from typing for an hour, would they ever share that information? Not unless sharing this 'information' makes them more money!

As such, avoid all sites that promise to make you rich simply by you typing out simple forms and so on.

The second kind of sites are those that put you in touch with other companies and people who need someone to work for them on a regular basis as paid typists, or content processors. As opposed to prevalent myths on the internet, these companies are not paying out hundreds of dollars a day. Most of the time, the pay is close to $8 or so an hour. Not great, but not bad for a work at home position either. These are much harder to come by, and usually charge an upfront fee (though it almost always has a 100% refund clause). These are relatively safer to use and work for some people.

The problems of this approach are two fold:
1. The companies listed that you are put in contact with may or may not be credible. Think about this : Why wouldn't a company simply put out an ad in the paper for online home typists? Either because they can't afford to, or because they don't want to. Both are reasons to be concerned.

2. The work is not guaranteed - The work made available by these companies is not guaranteed, and you may have some work today, and not enough tomorrow to cover all of your bills. While this can be prevented by regularly contacting multiple companies at the same time, it is usually pretty hard to do so.

That leaves the third option, which is producing content as a freelance writer. There are a few things to keep in mind here as well:

1. You must be able to produce well-written, readable, and optimized content on demand. Unless you are fairly quick and can produce an article every 25-30 minutes, this won't work for you.

2. Why not simply do what the buyer will do with the content to make even more money?

3. Finding buyers in this fairly competitive section of the market is not a very easy task at all, especially consistently.

Is There Any Place That Provides Real Home Jobs?

YES!

The only good approach is to combine content-production, real home jobs, marketing techniques that people use, and put it in a system that is proven to work. There are very few of these out there today, and very few that are really effective!

Beware Of The Scammers!

As I hinted earlier, the web is crawling with scammers... In fact, there's so many of them that the odds of someone uninformed making the right decision based solely upon the appearance and testimonials on a site is slim to none. Don't fall for the traps, especially hyped up results.

Tips For Increasing Your Earnings With Online Typing...

I'm aware that some of the following will seem like common sense, but for many people they are not! Consider the following carefully, they could help you boost your income through the roof!

1. Increase your typing speed! Not only does this help you get qualified for better and higher paying jobs, it also increases your productivity, and allows you to make a lot more in a shorter amount of time. This difference is often lost on people - there is a huge difference between 30 words/min and 50 words/min. You can download many free programs online that help you train and increase your typing speed very quickly - USE THEM!

Let's say you are going to be paid $20 for completing a 1200 word assignment. At 30 words/minute, you will get it done in about 50 minutes after research time (usually around 30 minutes). This is because you cannot maintain a given speed for a long duration of time.
That works out to about $13 per hour.

On the other hand, if you invest some time in training yourself and type at 50 words per minute, the same assignment will take you only 25-35 minutes, effectively increasing your pay to $19 per hour. Not bad, huh?

2. Get the work done before time - Sending in due work before the due deadline will often indicate a trustworthy and responsible person to the company that you are working for, allowing you to earn a lot more very quickly.

3. OUTSOURCE - This is a big one! If you can act as the middle-man (or woman) and outsource the projects sent to you, you can increase your earnings by a massive amount!
Imagine the same $20 project. Instead, take 2 of them, outsource one and pay $10 to the worker. This way, you would have made $30 in the same hour that you would usually have made only $20.

4. Diversify - Do not rely on just one company, or just stream of income. Diversify your working capabilities. Focus on multiple options and combine surveys, article writing, content production, and online typing jobs together to come up with a much bigger (and more fun!) income.

5. Invest - As you start earning, make sure that you put some aside and use that to increase your productivity and speed. Outsourcing has already been mentioned. However, spending some money on educating yourself regarding how to use content to increase your earnings, or getting tools to help you write the article faster can be investments with great ROI!

These are just some basic tips. Over time, you will yourself develop little tricks that allow you to earn far more, very quickly!

Remember...

Remember that in the end what makes a system work is your application of it. Even the best system won't work for you if you don't apply it properly, and even the worst of them will work if you consistently work and refine your skills (although with very limited results).
Real online typing jobs are hard to come by, but if you do your job well, many companies will contract you for repeat work!
