What Can We Learn From The Ant?

Ants - you either are fascinated with them or can't stand them! Ants have never really bothered me but now that I home school my children, I have become fascinated with learning about these tiny creatures and many others.  My daughter loves to learn about anything in nature and my son of course loves to learn about all those things that boys typically like to scare girls with - like ants, grasshoppers, spiders, and any creepy crawly insect he can find.  I've learned to be fascinated with them all but this lens is only going to focus on the Hard Working Ant and what we can learn from them.

Ants as mentioned in the Bible

Proverbs 6:6-7 says: "Go to the ant, you sluggard, consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest."

Proverbs 30:25 says: Ants are creatures of little strength, yet they store up their food in the summer"

According to the Bible, we can learn lots from this tiny little creature.
