Work From Home:Home Business Review From A Stay Home Mom Of Five

Whatever home business you are looking at and whatever your situation may be , realize that we create whether we are having good times or bad times. The media would seduce us into believing these are the worst of times. To many who are working a home based business from the comfort of their home and taking advantage of the carpet commute; it is the absolute best of times. We are not only doing well, but are absolutely flourishing in these supposed "horrid times". Why is that? you may ask. Well if you found this article and are reading it, you are looking for a solution to your personal situation.

My personal situation happens to be that I am stay at home mom of five amazing and wonderful children with high energy and busy schedules. With homework to do, meals to prepare, clothes to wash, carpools to pick up, floors to wash and vacuum, diapers to change, baths to give, bills to pay, and the many other numerous things parents do, I am limited on the amount of time I have to dedicate to a business. I only work 4-6 hours a week. I use many forms of advertising, mostly free, and have wonderful and dedicated mentors from years gone by that I have gathered wisdom, knowledge and success systems that have blessed my family with the ability to pay down debt, take vacations, move to another state and have my children attend a private school that has all been due to my work at home businesses.

With today's "Doom and Gloom" outlook, many people are fearful, anxious and desperately seeking a way to make ends meet. They are turning to home based business and are working from home and in the true spirit of America, are realizing that the best way to have any "sanity" in these unsure times is by faith in the entrepreneurial spirit. By becoming an entrepreneur and endeavoring to work from home we are able to empower people and bless not only their lives, but the lives of their families with abundance in these so called times of lack. We don't give hand outs but rather a hand up, casting light into the darkness of despair and are assisting other families to become victors of their situation rather than victims.

To work from home and have a home business in these "rough economic times" is not only a true blessing, but an absolute privilege to "wake people up to their dreams again" and step out of the so called "nightmare" these times seem to be to so many. Our country requires people who are brave enough to step out of their fear and be leaders and leader growers. I do not say that lightly. How does your fear affect your life and the life of others? Fear of making a mistake, fear of losing money, fear of losing an opportunity and lack of action. To err is to be human, learn from your mistakes and move on. Leave the past in the past. Forgive yourself. Forgive others. Let go of pain. Love yourself. Focus on others and you will find peace. Opportunities are never lost, they are seized by people that are ready. Our industry absolutely thrives in times of "recession". Understand the power of time leverage and duplication and you will absolutely be creating a phenomenal income for your family that you can never achieve working for someone else and making them rich.

Having a home business and being able to work from home allows you to live life on your terms and your time frames. You determine how much you are worth and how much you make. In the home business arena you become an ambassador of change, change for the better. You learn and grow, leaving old ways that don't honor you or serve you behind. You are able to learn to let go of negative emotions, fears, pride, guilt, emotional blocks, incorrect money beliefs, and transform into a positive, capable, success attracting, faith filled and hopeful person that truly believes in a power beyond your own. Money comes from many places but will elude you until you make it about someone else. It is not about the money, but the quality of life you can give to other people.

Those that have twisted, manipulated, schemed, and stolen from those seeking change, looking to join such a noble profession as to transform and bless the lives of others will reap their just rewards in this life and the next. What goes around comes around. It is a law of the universe. Sadly enough, they are out there. The scammers, the wham, bam take your money and run, never hear from them again kind of scum that gives the home business entrepreneur a sometimes bad name. Beware of get rich quick, make $50,000.00 your first month or sign up for free scams. Yes, you can become rich but it takes work and dedication. Some do make $50k their first month but probably had many years of experience and a team of hundreds to bring with them. And nothing is free. Skill is often required and a time investment made to make "free" work. And if it is free, than how do you ever make money???

Many make money selling information. Some valuable, some not so much. You could easily spend hundreds of dollars "gathering information" and still not have a legitimate home business. So how do you recognize a legitimate opportunity that can prosper your family when you see one?

Number one would be, if they actually list a phone number and answer their phone. Or if you visit their website and you receive a personal call from them with in a 24-48 hour period. Why is this important? This person knows your time and money are valuable and they are all about customer service. They are there to answer your questions, not sell you. They will put you through an information gathering system so that you can make an informed decision. Whether it be a website, a conference call or pre-recorded call, the system does the work. The system does all the telling and selling and the person basically sells themselves. You are just there to be a tour guide basically, guiding them through the information process and then assisting them to see if it is a good fit for them. A good fit meaning, they can envision themselves assisting other people, guiding them through the same kind of system.

Number two would be, they have a support system and training in place with access to leadership when needed. Having access to someone that can assist you in getting up and running and more importantly having a system in place that can get you in profit is critical. Because if you are not successful, believe me they won't be. Depending on your marketing budget (you must have a marketing budget, just because you get a website with all the bells and whistles does not mean you will make money) you can be in profit in a couple of hours. A good leader will know how to make you profitable quickly. That is a whole other discussion. Marketing is a must though. Paid advertising, free advertising, web 2.0, ya, an entire other beast of it's own. However a good business will have training in place for this.

Third and this is a big one, the person you signed up with returns your calls in a timely manner or gives you other resources when they are not available. It's all about leadership and professional courtesy. Your sponsor/inviter shows that you are important to them by calling back to answer any questions you may have and assist you on your path to success. Now as the team grows, questions may need to be addressed on a team conference call but this is reasonable when a person has a team of 200 people or more and you are working with time constraints. Again, a support system in place is crucial.

When all is said and done, there is no other business like working from home, working for yourself and doing it all from the comfort of your home with your family close by.
