Working Border Collies
Border Collies are a farmer's friend indeed! Hello, I'm Ann and I'm a huge fan of Border Collies. I raised Border Collies for about 13 years and continue to teach people about the breed to this day. This lens talks about Border Collies from a herding point of view. Although Border Collies have become quite popular in the dog world through commercials, AKC acceptance and Agility trials, I am still a firm believer in keeping the instincts alive in this fabulous animal. I do not condone the fact that people breed the dogs for looks or showmanship purposes.

The Border Collie is a breed of herding dog that originated in Northumberland along the borders of Scotland and England, as well origins traced to Wales Border Collies are generally highly intelligent in terms of memory and learning but less so in terms of problem solving abilities.
