If you live a hectic lifestyle where you're always on the road, you might have a hard time staying fit and active.
When you finally reach your hotel after a long day on the job, it's not that hard to forgo the workout because of how tired you are. The Catch 22 here is that workout is essential for you to live a healthy lifestyle. You'll feel invigorated after you do it, plus, it will help you build up stamina for your long days on the job.
There are a variety of exercises that you can do when you're on the road to get in a good workout. Like, if the weather is nice outside you can get out of your hotel room and go for a run or a walk. You can even plan ahead and bring your bike with you and go for a bike ride.
If it's raining outside, then you're stuck with working out in the hotel. If your hotel has a workout area, then you could go get in some cardio on the machines they might have or if there are free weights available, you can get in some weight training. If the workout room at your hotel has both, you could even do a circuit training workout where you do five minutes of intense cardio followed by quick, short weightlifting reps, which you then follow with five more minutes of cardio. Then, you simply repeat that process over and over again.
If your hotel doesn't have a workout room, don't think that you're off the hook when it comes to working out. You might be thinking, how can I still work out? Well, if your hotel has a pool, you can do some laps or water walking. Or, you can do a mini circuit workout in your room, alternating between jumping jacks, sit-ups, push-ups, and dips using the chair in your room. Just do jumping jacks followed by sit-ups followed by more jumping jacks and so on and so forth.
If you really want to get in a good workout despite your hotel not having a workout room, you can always open of the Yellow Pages and find a fitness center to go to near your hotel.
