Aussie Work Visa Checklist

1. First of all you should use a migration agent. If your employer is sponsoring your nomination the chances are that they will already have a migration law firm that handles all of their applications
2. The migration agent will contact you with instructions telling you what to do each step of the way. The first step will be to provide the agent with copies of your particulars such as: Passport photo page, marriage certificates, birth certificates, resume, etc
3. You will also be supplied with various forms that contain questions you will need to answer and return to the attorney
4. You will also be supplied with instructions about seeing a panel doctor to have a medical test. For most cases this will simply just be an xray
5. You then have to send your health results to the health centre for processing. Your health must be cleared before your visa application is considered by the immigration department.
6. Meanwhile your attorney will lodge your application. This happens after they have drafted an earlier sample and you have seen the details are correct
7. Then you wait until the attorney sends you an approval notice letter which contains your new visa details
8. Finally you take that information to a vfs office where you get your new visa label stamped in your passport which then allows you to travel to Australia
