Snowman trully are made of many happy memories.
Let It Snow
Eveyone knows the best snow to make a snowman in is packing snow. Packing snow is formed when regular
powder snow nears it's melting point and becomes moist and compactiable.
The best part of makeing a snowman is dressing it up.You can use rocks ,sticks, vegtables , like a
carrot nose. The best part is dressing that snowman
up , you can use a scarve, jacket or even a hat.
Clothing insulates the snowman by keeping out the heat. Which means a longer life for the snowman.

The Largest Snowman

The record for the world's largest snowman was set in February 1999 in Bethel, Maine. The snowman was named "Angus, King of the Mountain" in honor of the then current governor of Maine, Angus King. It was 113 feet, 7 inches tall and weighed over 9,000,001 pounds.
This record was broken in 2008 when the world's largest snow-woman was constructed, again, in Bethel, Maine. She stood 122 ft, 1 in tall, and was named in honor of Olympia Snowe, a U.S. Senator representing Maine.

Frosty The Snowman

"Frosty the Snowman" is a popular song written by Walter "Jack" Rollins and Steve Nelson, and first recorded by Gene Autry and the Cass County Boys in 1950. It was written after the success of Autry's recording of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" the previous year; Rollins and Nelson shipped the new song to Autry, who recorded "Frosty" in search of another seasonal hit. Like "Rudolph", "Frosty" was subsequently adapted to other media including a popular television special. The song was originally titled "Frosty the Snow Man".
The song is about a snowman who came to life thanks to a magical hat some children found; he then had playful adventures before he "hurried on his way". This include games, sports, and other jolly things. Near the end of their adventures together, the children are saddened by Frosty having to hurry on his way for the last time. However, Frosty reassures them by exclaiming, "I'll be back on Christmas Day!"

My Love Of Snowmen
My love of snowmen even extends into cool books i love to read my kids. I have a top recomendation to all of you. I would love to share. A book called Snowmen at night , by Caralyn Buehner. Not since Frosty paraded through the village square have snowmen enjoyed such a slip-sliding good time as they do in the Buehners latest flight of fancy. When a boy observes that the snowman he built the day before now looks droopy and disheveled, he imagines what happened to his snow creation during the night. Soon the boy pictures all the neighborhood snowmen gathered in the park for "ice-cold cocoa," a snowball fight, a round of making snow angels and more. Surely a full night of play and a long glide back to their homes must be the explanation. Children will like being in on the secret here and eagle-eye readers will relish finding hidden figures in the shadows, clouds and snowdrifts. You trully will enjoy this book...and so will your kids. - I adore snowmen. I gravitate to snowmen and didn't realize how many I had until I unpacked my ornaments to decorate the tree and found that a good 2/3 of them were snowmen!
I love your lens and plan to try the crafts, because... I need more snowmen.

- Hi, I'm one of Squidoo's Community Organizers. You've done a beautiful job with this lens. Are you aware of the Giant Squid Lensmaster program here at Squidoo? I think you would make a great Giant Squid. You can learn more about it (and it's many perks) at my mentor lens.
