World of Warcraft Horde
Guide to the Horde faction in Wow
In World of Warcraft, the Horde is the opposing "political" faction standing against the Alliance in the fictional world of WoW.The Horde is itself an alliance of 5 races:
The Orcs: they are the original Horde race of World of Warcraft who fought the Humans (alliance) after being enslaved by them. Green skinned they fight not just for conquest but for their right to live in their adopted world. Their main capital is Orgrimmar in Durotar. Orcs include: Hunters, Rogues, Shamans, Warlocks, and Warriors as classes players can choose.
Darkspear's Trolls: This is a vicious race that hated all races until saved from being totally annhiliated by the Orcs, with whom they share Orgrimmar as their capital in Durotar. Class to select trolls from, include Hunters, Mages, Priests, Rogues, Shamans, and Warriors.
The Tauren: Huge, bestial, yet spiritual creatures who live peacefully in their tribal societies. However when called upon they are the most tenecious of fighters. Druids, Hunters, Shamans and Warriors are the class selections available if you choose Tauren as your Horde race in Wow.
Undead: This is a group of Undead known as the Forsaken, so called for breaking off their allegiance to the fearsome Lich King. They are driven by their desire to destroy anyone opposing them and as such they have joined forces with the other races of the Horde to achieve this. Their class selection are: Mage, Priest, Rogue, Warlock and Warrior.
Before entering the Horde faction at the start of the Burning Crusade, the Blood Elves were known as High Elves who lived in the Kingdom of Quel'Thalas. They had incredible powers of mysticism which was granted to them by the "Sunwell" a magical font which was corrupted by the leader of the Undead during the 3rd war who also decimated in a bloody war almost 90% of their population.
This caused the Blood Elves to resort to demonic energies to sustain the energy source which was destroyed when the Sunwell ceased to exist. Having now moved to Ouland, the Blood Elves are seeking a new destiny now that their former power is almost completely restored.
Blood Elves classes can choose from : Paladin, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Mage, and Warlock.

Horde Capital Cities
World of Warcraft's Horde Capital Cities
Orgrimmar Location: DuratorOrgrimmar is probably one of the most famous horde wow cities. It is the the orcs own capital and was built within a huge canyon. It is a large city with winding paths and easy to get lost in. It is situated in Durator and named in honour of Orgrim Doomhammer when it was deemed the new Orc capital in their new found home.
Horde Capital of The Tauren
Thunder Bluff Location: MulgoreThunder Bluff stands tall, a refuge for the brave hunters who stalk their dangerous prey from the plains below. The Nomadic Tauren Established this city as a center for trade caravans, traveling craftsman and artisans of every kind.
Undercity: Horde city of the undead
Undercity is yet another Horde capital
This is the capital of the Undead (also known as the Forsaken). It is found in the zone of Tirisfal Glades and is on the Eastern Kingdoms continent. Like all the horde capitals all races be it orc, blood elf, troll, or tauren it is accesible to all of them; also as in the case of the other capital cities it maintains a a seperate reputation track for each player which can spill over. Reputation usually gained by the usual methods like questing and killing enemies. From Undercity you can also access Silvermoon (the blood elf capital) through a portal found in the Lorderan ruins under which the royal catacombs have now been transformed into the Forsaken's capital. It's quite an easy city to find shops for armour, spells etc. The sewage transport system can take a little getting used to. You find the outer rings by accessing the trade centre and then through the catacombs beneath where you can also find the auction house (which on my server at least is not very well used compared to the one in Orgrimmar). From UC you can also travel freely to Orgrimmar and booty bay using the goblin ships which take you there by sea or air. Silvermoon - Horde Capital of the Blood Elves
Location: Lordaeron
This is the new city of the Horde huge having all services to cater for every horde race passing by as long as the player leading the character has the Burning Crusade expansion pack. It's a good looking town complimenting the good looking race (not difficult to achieve) that are the blood elves. World Of Warcraft Class Breakdowns For Horde: Warrior (part 1)
This can apply to alliance warriors too..
Warriors in world of warcraft is one of three pure damage per second (dps) classes and one of only two classes that do not use mana. They also have Rage as a bar which unlike the mana bar, once spells are used, it never runs out. Rage starts at 0 when not in combat or attacked but once a warrior gets attacked or is attacking it starts to kick in.
Warriors inflict high dps and with the rage they build up when attacked they do more damage - "enemies feed them rage". Armor and health point are also high with warriors which combined with their rage makes them quite feared in 5v5 combat.
Mortal Strike is one of their most amazing abilities which reduces the amount of healing of the target by 50% making the enemy healers waste a lot of time and mana to keep their teammates alive. For this reason many 5v5 teams will (and should) have a warrior in their ranks.
Another unique ability of warriors is that they are completely free from fear thanks to some of the spells in their arsenal. However there is a 5 to 10 second period in which they can be feared. This means Warriors are effectively unable to be crowd controlled by one of the two major CC's. Like Warlocks, Warriors enjoy a very high synergy with Shamans and Paladins.
World of Warcraft Warrior Part 2
Team Up With a Paladin Or Shaman
Both Paladins and Warriors have a large range of stun and defensive abilities that can make them very hard to kill. The Blessing of Freedom allows paladins to move without fear or getting rooted or snared and this is an ability that compliments warriors well as it is something of a weakness of theirs.
A team of paladins and warrior is invincible in fights where whoever runs out of mana wins due to the Warrior Mortal Strike ability that makes healers use more mana and the Paladin second to none efficiency with mana
In 3v3 Shamans and Warriors have just recently showed a lot of chemistry as well as in 5v5 especially if the Warrior has also a Paladin in the team. The Wind Fury totem of the Shaman give Warriors a chance to get an extra attack on every hit. This makes the already powerful damage per second Warriors even more likely to strike down an opponent without mercy.
The Shamans Heroism buff works even better with Warriors and is magnified when they also have a windfury totem. This means the Warrior not only is hitting harder but also attacking faster. Lastly, the only real defense against a Warrior is a blessing of protection on his target. The Shaman can quickly purge this off and allow the Warrior to continue his carnage.
