Mount. Fuji, Mount. Fuji, Mount. Fuji, Mount. Fuji!!!!

Japan Japan Japan

The most sacred of all mountains in Japan and a perfect conical vulcano. The name 'Fuji' refers to the fire god. Along the way to the top are Shinto shrines, with many little bells and coins left here by Japanese tourists and pilgrims. On the top there also is a shrine with a big bell to ring. On the mountain there are 10 'stages' , each of them having a mountain hut. Many tourists buy a walking stick (with or without bells and/or flag) and have it branded at each stage. A lot of Japanese people do the hike in one day up and down, starting from the fifth station (2380 m), which is the terminal of the bus. An alternative is to stay overnight in one of the mountain huts along the way and to hike up at night and see sunset (goraiko) on the summit. Mt. Fuji is the highest point of Japan (3776 m). You can climb Mt. Fuji in July and August.

It's Not Easy Being Green

In today's society its really interesting that so many people don't want to help our environment by throwing trash on the street, why not dispose of it properly a organization that I watch carefully is GNET or Global Network Of Environment & Technology. I think most people didn't want to take former vice president gore seriously when he was relaying his message but nowadays with gas prices being so expensive it's interesting that more things aren't being done about it or a larger scale. Methinks a conspiracy has been brewing. Thank god for plugins as well as batteries kidding kidding, but no after all of the knowledge thats out there it makes no sense for us as a leading nation to be so far behind.

Let's all make it a great place to live because remember we only have one mother earth from one tree hugger to another.

What Can I Say Travel All Day Every Day

Well traveling is great and all but the only thing I do not like is going through customers excuse Miss Brooks we need a vial of blood a sample of your urine and fingerprint and a retinal scan and a full body search now you can proceed through. I mean come on is it really necessary to go through all of that. The terrorist threat level is like a crayola crayon box todays color is futia. So much randomization that it seems improbable for any truth therein. All I know is at the end of the day once I have gotten back from traveling I need another vacation just to deal with the TSA boys, where is the justice. WHY does it seem like most of them are either high school dropouts or former greeters at walmart, laughing and giggling oh sure I feel safe. My favorite is the customs agents do you have anything to declare only to god himself tosser get real and wake up. Protect and serve not harass and harangue! We all live on one planet lets try to make it comfortable for each other.

Thai Thai Thai Bangkok

I flew there from Singapore on Tiger airlines. The next day, we took the Sky train to the Pier, and then the local Thai taxi boat to visit Wat Po, the temple which houses the largest reclining Buddah in Thailand. It was amazing, I will hopefully upload some pics at a later date. We went into the garden of the Grand Palance, but didn't go in, as it was lunchtime, and was pretty expensive to get in when we weren't too bothered about seeing it. Many people tried to scam us with 'That is closed today, you should go here, we'll take you in tuk tuk' but we had been well warned of these by Lonely Planet, the hostel, and the signs about the city from the Tourist Police!!!! We got off the boat one stop early by mistake on the way home, so ended up walking for miles back to the hostel. We had befriended a lovely English girl, Raj, who was sharing our room, so the three of us went to have dinner at the Bangkok Night Baazar. The entertainment was even better than the previous night, with Thai versions of english songs, and a funny rendition of the Black Eyed Peas (think the Thai prison singing in Bridget Jones). I tried Pad Thai, a noodle and veg dish which was pretty good - it is so much easier to eat healithy in Thailand, we were made up with the stir fry veg we had on the first night :)A highlight from Bangkok was seeing several hundred people gathered in a big park to bounce around to a Thai techno-dance aerobics class!! This happens every night, hilarious!!! We explored the night market, which has a big outdoor food court area and stage, enjoyed a fruit smoothie whilst listening to a Thai boy band!!!

The Island Of Barbados

The island of Barbados is full of plush resorts and top-tier restaurants, but Sandy Lane is the undisputed best. Rooms average 900 square feet and have private terraces as well as plasma-screen TVs. Not that we recommend you spend too much time in your room; the resort also has an 18-hole golf course, a dramatic, Romanesque-style spa and lots of white-sand beachfront. Tiger Woods loves the grounds so much that he rented the entire resort for his marriage to Swedish model Elin Nordegren in 2004
