What Is WorldVentures?

WorldVentures is an online travel company and host agency for home-based travel agents. An emerging leader in the leisure travel industry, WorldVentures is a privately held company based in Dallas, TX with active representatives and members in all fifty states.

The idea for WorldVentures came from our founders: Wayne Nugent and Mike Azcue. Together they conceived the idea of a company that harnesses the combined powers of the Internet and network marketing to do something that no one else has been able to do in either industry. With the help of Robert Oblon, the company's PowerSearchTM technology would offer something one-of-a-kind in travel. It's an exciting time in travel. The boundaries of our global community are rapidly blurring, communication is faster, and travel is easier and more affordable than ever.

We're building a company that we believe will become the dominant player in the travel industry. When you think of online auctions, who do you think of? When you think of online books and music sales, who do you think of? When you think of travel, we want you to think of WorldVentures.

Mission Statement:
Our goal is to create one of the largest and most respected travel companies in the world. WorldVentures' superior field and corporate leadership will create the ultimate opportunity for our representatives. As a team, we will become a "Billion Dollar Giant" in the Travel Industry. Why A Travel Home Business Is A Wise Decision

Facts Tell Why

WHY TRAVEL?

In real estate, they say location is everything. In business, success usually has a great deal to do with timing. In travel, there couldn't be a better moment than right now. We are currently experiencing the intersection of two very big trends that WorldVentures is perfectly poised to take advantage of.

TREND #1:

Simply put, travel is the world's largest industry. At over 7 Trillion spent annually worldwide, and a growth rate that puts it on pace to double in the next 4-6 years, it's a vast market. Baby Boomers are retiring at the rate of 1 every 8 seconds and they will continue to drive the growth for the next 10-20 years. With an industry this big, a company able to capture even a small piece of that pie could be wildly successful and profitable.

TREND #2:

With the dawn of the internet age, more and more consumers are booking their travel online. In 2006, Forrester Research reported that 73% of US Households are online and 82% of US travelers are online. More than half of them research and book travel online. In fact, according to CNN Money, travel is the single largest category or e-commerce, accounting for about 43% of all online spending. This means that the industry is no longer controlled by store-front agencies. The mom and pop travel agencies who used to be the fixture of every strip center and shopping mall are rapidly disappearing.

The result of all this is that while more money is being spent on travel and more of it is being spent online, consumers are experiencing a lack of human interaction. WorldVentures offers the solution: a calendar filled with dozens of pre-planned vacation packages at wholesale prices so you don't have to deal with the hassle of planning your next trip, or high price of paying retail. We combine that with a proprietary search technology that merges high-tech and high-touch for the next evolution in travel. It's a complete solution for all your leisure travel needs. If you need a vacation, you need WorldVentures.

FACTS

Travel Industry Association Forecasts Stable Leisure Travel Market Despite Rough Economy

Downturn Projected in Business Travel, International Arrivals Increasing

The Travel Industry Association (TIA) recently released its annual travel forecast indicating that an uncertain economic climate is leading American and global travelers to change their behaviors. Although leisure travel is stable, business travel is projected to decline and the United States is likely to be hit hard by a further decline in international arrivals.

"Consumers are responding as we might expect during an economic slowdown," said Dr. Suzanne Cook, Senior Vice President of Research for the Travel Industry Association. "But travel should not simply be viewed as an economic indicator; it should be seen as a part of the solution to our economic woes. There's no doubt that if we can spur travel, we can help to turn the economy around."

Despite current economic conditions and lagging consumer confidence, the forecast shows that leisure travel volume remains stable for 2008 (-0.2 percent) and is expected to decline modestly in 2009 (-1.3 percent). According to the latest travelhorizonsTM survey co-authored by TIA and Ypartnership, seven out of ten (71 percent) respondents intend to take an overnight trip of 50 miles or more from home during the next six months. Fully half (48 percent) of all respondents stated they were not planning any changes to their future travel plans as result of the recent turmoil in the financial markets.

According to Dr. Peter Yesawich, Chairman of Ypartnership, "The results corroborate what we have been preaching now for several months: American travelers are trading down, but not out."

Consumers are likely to plan and purchase leisure trips differently with the pursuit of a "good value" as the primary reason why. Three quarters (76 percent) "expect to book a packaged vacation to save money" and six out of ten (58 percent) "plan to comparison shop for prices and rates specifically on the Internet." Seven out of ten (67 percent) "plan to stay fewer nights" and a comparable percentage expects to "spend less on food, beverages and entertainment" when traveling.

The outlook for business travel is more challenging, with a 3.7 percent decline in volume projected for 2008 and another 2.7 percent decline forecasted for 2009, according to TIA's annual travel forecast. Companies are making decisions to scale back in the current environment and business travel is no exception. Business, meeting and convention travel volume is expected to begin to recover in 2010 (+2 percent).

"By no means is the sky falling," said Dr. Cook. "After years of growth, we're now looking at modest declines. The travel industry can manage the downturn, but it is in the country's interest to stimulate travel as one of the best means to stimulate our economy."

Although overseas travel to the United States still has not returned to pre-9/11 levels, recent increases in international travel have cushioned the blow of declining domestic travel. This is not expected to hold true in 2009. The Department of Commerce estimates that international arrivals will decline by -1.6 percent in 2009. Overseas travel to the U.S. is expected to decline 3 percent in 2009 and grow very modestly in 2010. By the end of 2011, overseas arrival still will not exceed the record level in 2000.

"As the dollar gains strength and the global economy cools, the need to make America more attractive to international travelers grows," said Dr. Cook. "America's visa process, the entry experience and the lack of communication and promotion all need a second look in this difficult environment. Now is not the time for unnecessary barriers and inefficiencies."
