PAN AM FLIGHT ATTENDANTS STILL FLY HIGH WITH WORLD WINGS INTERNATIONAL

Once we soared with the "World's Most Experienced Airline," spanning the world in sleek jets etched in Pan Am Blue. We shopped in Hong Kong, made a splash on the beach in Rio, dined in Paris and danced in Swinging London. Our high flying lives sometimes had serious and scary moments as we coped with hijackers and terrorists, pulled passengers from burning aircraft or answered our country's call when Americans needed to be evacuated from trouble spots around the world.

A GLOBAL NETWORK OF FORMER PAN AM FLIGHT ATTENDANTS STILL SOARS

World Wings International, Inc. The Philanthropic Organization of Former Flight Attendants of Pan American World Airways.

Today, we're community leaders, teachers, doctors, realtors, travel agents, authors, attorneys, clergy members, homemakers, entrepreneurs, and executives. Some are still airborne, flying for major airlines such as Delta and United. Wherever we are, we are still involved in the world that we were so privileged to see. We are engaged in fundraising projects in our local community and through CARE International, in aid of women and girls around the globe.

We are World Wings International Inc., the philanthropic organization of former flight attendants of Pan American World Airways. World Wings numbers about 2500 members in 34 chapters in the United States, Europe and Japan.

Of course, we had, and still have, a lot of fun! The posh hotels, the custom made clothes, jewelry from the Beirut gold market, exotic food and trips to places like Bali and Nepal before they were tourist spots. Many of us visited lands that for all intents and purposes don't exist anymore - Cambodia before Pol Pot, Iran before the Ayatollahs, Lebanon in the 60s - Beirut was the Paris of the Middle East.

We are proud of our group and proud to have played a part in the history of Pan American World Airways. Pan Am was a world leader in aviation and we are also committed to preserving its exceptional history. Our company may be gone, but it's not forgotten by World Wings International, Inc.

WORLD WINGS CARES

Still Involved In the World We Were Privileged to See

As a philanthropic organization, we also raise money to support both local charities and CARE, the official charity of World Wings International Inc.

The organization is a major contributor to CARE International and its worldwide programs assisting women and children. World Wings strongly supports CARE's efforts to promote education and gender equality and was one of the first organizations to underwrite the CARE Global Fund for Education. As individual constituents, some World Wingers visit Washington once a year to meet with their representatives. They join other CARE supporters to discuss the great need and problems they have personally witnessed in the developing world.

SUPPORTING CARE'S PROGRAMS WORLDWIDE

World Wings International Inc. strongly supports CARE's efforts to promote education and gender equality and was one of the first organizations to underwrite the CARE Global Fund for Education. Members are also involved in informational efforts on behalf of CARE and the UN-Millennium Educational Goals.

Local chapters support selected community projects such as schools, hospitals, childcare centers, shelters, food banks, medical research and other charitable causes. World Wings members have raised more than $2 million for charities worldwide since the organization was chartered in 1959.

You Can't Beat the Experience!

Pan Am flight attendants are a sociable crowd- that's why we were hired! Our calendars are packed with great events and opportunities: Chapter parties, trips and special events, such as the annual Manhattan Luncheon.

And, each year we hold our annual convention by land or by sea. We've convened in New York, Paris, Las Vegas and aboard cruise ships to Alaska, Hawaii, the Caribbean and New England. We meet several times a year at chapter meetings, special events and our annual convention, to maintain our friendships and enjoy the camaraderie of other women and men who share the unique and rewarding experience of working for Pan Am.

MEMBERSHIP HAS ITS PRIVILIGES

A Special Group of Women and Men

Pan Am flight attendants are a very special group of women and men - adventurous, involved, and sophisticated in the best sense of the word. Our experience spans visits to cities on six continents, aboard aircraft from the Boeing Stratocruiser to the Boeing 747. We recall the Golden Age of Air Travel and take pride in the role Pan Am and its flight attendants played in making the world accessible to millions.

We are still involved in that world at home and abroad, through our charitable work, supporting causes in our local communities and through our contributions to CARE International's programs to aid women and girls in developing countries.

Thanks to World Wings International, Inc. we can maintain those friendships we forged, share our memories and make a meaningful contribution to the world we came to know so well as part of Pan Am.

BUT... you have to be a member of World Wings to attend our conventions and see again all the great people who soared with the World's Most Experienced Airline.
