Fishing in World of Warcraft

Searching for a WoW Fishing Guide to help with leveling fishing up to 450? There are some very important reasons for choosing to use fishing as one of your professions in the game. It can provide a lot of ingredients for various alchemy formulas, cooking recipes, or Hunters can use it to feed their pets. It is also relatively easy to powerlevel fishing because no matter where you fish you can go from 1 to 450 there as long as you train so your max skill level of fishing can increase.

Start to Fish in Wow

If you're looking into leveling fishing up to 450, the first thing you need to realize is that fishing takes patience to level. This is not something you can really speed through as no matter what, you're going to have to catch about 3000 fish before you max your skill out at 450.

First off make sure you have a fishing pole and equip it in your weapon spot when you are ready to fish. you can use one pole at a time. Some of the poles have bonuses, for example if you have a pole with a bonus of +30 and you already have 80, your new skill will be 110. Other items such as fishing line provide permanent enchantment. Lures, such as glowworms, can provide additional bonus of +100 that lasts for at least an hour of use. There are also fishing apparels and its enchantment variants available from merchants and fishing suppliers. It is advised that you use a +25 fishing lure, but it is not required. The lure will simply help you avoid fish getting away.

Now the cool thing about fishing is you can skill up from 1 to 450 in any fishable water, so fishing in Orgrimmar is going to be the same as fishing in say Dalaran. if you are Horde, one of the best ways to make money from fishing is by catching Deviate Fish in the Barrens at the Oasis. Deviate Fish sell for good money in the auction house. If you get lucky enough to have the recipe drop for Savory Deviate Delight, you can make a nice amount of gold from the cooked fish in the auction house.

In addition to fishing being a good profession for any player, it is also a great way to get some food and finding some lockboxes, which when picked can give you skill points. You also pick up some rare items and make a ton of profit because you can find a lot of gold.

The shing skill level of the player will determine whether or not fish can be caught in a certain area and the likelihood that the fish will get away from the player. A higher skill level does not necessarily mean a better chance of catching better fish. All it means is that the player taking up the World of Warcraft fishing trade skill can fish in areas where better fish can be caught.

WoW players can use some of their individual skills to improve their fishing kills. Shamans can use their water walking abilities to look for a better and secured fishing spots. Priests can drift over water that makes them easy to spot good fishing location. Other characters can use their other skills that can enhance their level up on fishing skill.

Gaining levels in fishing is very easy because there are fishing opportunities in many areas. There are a lot of different things you can do to get fishing skills once you have made it past level 80. You can also pick up fishing achievements such as Old Crafty and Old Ironjaw, these can help you level up really quickly, however they may require lots of fish in order for you to actually get them. You may also have rules you must follow to achieve these goals.
