Gold Farming Guide: 5 Simple Tips to Get Started
It doesn't have to be this way.
You can generate more gold in World of Warcraft with some easy steps. All you need to do if figure out the basics to start making gold, then move on to some more advanced techniques.

Skinning and Mining
World of Warcraft Professions
Skinning and mining are great professions to start a new character with. There will be tons of animals for skinning and plenty of mines to mine as you are questing. If you don't do this, it's like throwing your gold away. Sell the hides you obtained from skinning using the auction house. Find out which one is selling for more gold on your server by checking the AH. Get Your Bags ASAP!
More Space=More Gold
Save Your Gold!
Make do with what you get from quest rewards and mob drops and save your gold. You will not notice much of a difference at the low levels anyways
Quests
DO IT!
The only exceptions would be quests that require a group, such as instance quests. If you can get in a good group, fine, but don't waste too much time looking for one. If you can get a high level player to run your group through an instance, this is a good opportunity for some gold farming.
Auction House
AH Buyout - Use it!
