Alchemy in Warcaft
Primary Professions
In the World of Warcraft, there are two types of professions, primary and secondary. Every player may have as many Secondary Professions as he or she desires but will only be able to choose two Primary Professions. One of primary profession, the Alchemist mixes herbs in order to generate potions with a variety of effects. A player can create healing, invisibility, elemental resistance, and mana potions; oils to coat weapons; and much more.
Alchemy is for every race and class. For Warriors, Rogues, Hunters, Mages, and Warlocks all have very little to nothing to help heal them in combat.
Alchemy allows them to cheaply create healing potions will save them from tough fights.
If you're level seventy and have lots of spare money and don't mind the very expensive cost of leveling Alchemy up you then some would suggest taking Enchanting or Tailoring. Both of these professions are not dependant on another profession and give you access to more ways to make money.
