WoW Maps

I've been playing MMORPGs for a long time now. I got started with EverQuest and they've had their hooks into me ever since. I buy all the expansions, I even have the WoW maps hanging on the walls in my computer room!

What really got me interested was the way that the game worlds seemed brand new with every game. Because of this, every time a new MMORPG came out, I'd buy it and play. So, I've pretty much tried them all at this point, give or take a couple. EverQuest was my first love, and I'll never forget it, but now my heart belongs to World of Warcraft.

When it comes to World of Warcraft, or WoW for the time impaired, there isn't much to not like. Sure, its got some grinding, but what MMORPG doesn't? If that kind of thing bothers you, then perhaps this isn't your genre.

There are many things that WoW does well, like the art direction, but for me, the thing that makes it stand head and shoulders above the competition is the user interface. Simply put, it gives you so many different options for customization that probably no two players have their interface set up the exact same way.

That's where WoW maps come in. There are tons of different WoW addons that let you change or improve the maps in the game. I'm going to be talking about my favorites and hopefully you'll be able to make use of my reviews and increase your enjoyment of the game.
