Let me share with you one very important drving game tip today. Lots of families have carpeted floor which makes the games somewhat difficult to play because of the variances in the carpet surface and layout.
WowWeeTribot is programmed with 3 different driving games where Tri-Bot shows you a path, and you have to use the remote control to drive him and follow the path he just laid you. To play the driving game, you simply press the game button and Tri-Bot will speak each game name in succession. You can choose among the 3 games by pressing the GAME button again when Tribot says the name of the game that you want to play. The three games you can play are: Pattern, Maze, and Minefield. Because the WowWee Tribot is able to move diagonally with the three wheel design, he has a total of 8 possible directions of movement: Forward, backward, left, right, and the four diagonal directions in-between. The driving game requires you to repeat the path laid out by the Tribot, and if you floor has variances in it, it becomes hard to tell if the Tribot is moving straight or trying to move diagonally. You may be confused as to what direction he is trying to move when laying out the route pattern. The tip here is to watch his wheels! If you are good at physics, it is easy to figure it out. But let me give you the clues to save you the headache. Here they are: When he moves straight left or right, all 3 wheels rotate; when he moves straight backward or forward, only the front 2 wheels rotate. when he moves diagonally, he will not rotate the the wheel that is directly in line with the direction he is heading into or away from. Now, with these tips, you can have much more fun with the driving games.
