I'm twenty-something and I live with my boyfriend and two lovely cats in sunny Florida, land of beaches, palms, wild birds, and old birds. I'm one of the wild birds that cares for the old birds down here, as an agency LPN. Working for an agency means that I have more control over the hours I work, and I don't have to work at the same place until I'm burnt out. Every time I go to work, there's new people and new situations, it keeps me on my toes. I graduated from the nursing program at Northern Michigan University, and took several more courses and changed majors more than once. It's hard to make up your mind when everything seems so interesting. So I've decided on writing, always enjoyable, always interesting, and goes with everything.

I'm an Army brat, (which may explain why I'm so restless) and I've been a traveler since I was a child, not only moving from place to place, but also exploring the various settings our nuclear family of four found itself in, like Texas, Louisiana, Washington State, and Germany. Check out my favorite places if you'd like to see some photos. The longest I've ever been in one state would be Michigan, where we ended up after my Dad retired when I was eighteen. I went to Lincoln Park HS, in the Detroit area for one semester, and then Sault Ste. Marie HS for my last semester (in Sault Ste. Marie, MI). After that I ended up in the Marquette, MI area, until last year, when I finally moved here to Florida.

It's warm, it's hot, it's gloriously, blazing, toasty, roasty, hot! SO, I have air conditioning, AND the BEACH!!!
