Writing For eHow

As a veteran writer for the incredibly popular website, eHow.com, I thought I would start a lens for those interested in writing articles on eHow.

eHow has *the* easiest submission format of any online writing websites I have written for. (and I've written for many!) They also have a fantastic community which you can converse with via their forums, which are really picking up in popularity and traffic. But best of all, they have a fantastic *Writer's Compensation Program that appears to pay better than other online article directories do.

As of today, 7/3/08, I have written 201 articles for eHow.com and I am making enough money doing so that my husband has stopped harping on me to get a part time job. Yes, eHow really does pay me enough that it's like having a real job. And I only put in about an hour a day. I made just a few dollars shy of $400 last payday from the writing alone. I made another $600 from the traffic my articles generated to my other websites such as my dog breeding book I wrote this year.

eHow has 9.4 MILLION visitors every month! That is an incredible amount of traffic. As one of the ways you make money is by how many times your article (hence the google ads on the page) are viewed, you can see there is a GREAT potential for a writer to make some serious money here!

It's free to join. Give them a try.
