Writer's block is no laughing matter. It is a curse to creativity and it hits virtually every writer at one time or another. Writer's block may occur when the mind is, just too exhausted to come up with new ideas or caused by something as simple as a cluttered environment, cluttering your mind. But don't worry, writer's block isn't always terminal, and there are cures for the condition.

Now, how to overcome writer's block is the most significant question for every writer. It's that feeling; a blank mind numbing feeling that overwhelms you, as though your brain was paralyzed. You find your pen frozen in mid-air or you blankly stare at the keyboard unable to tape one word.

Since there isn't any single cure for writer's block, there are creative ways of overcoming it. A few ways of beating this curse and getting the ink flowing again may be to keep your mind busy by exploring new experiences, such as physical exercise, joining a discussion group, research, music, or simply talking to friends and family about your problem with writer's block. Other options are: try a relaxing bath or time in the hot tub, maybe a day out on the town, or through meditation. Just remember to set realistic goals according to your lifestyle. Be creative!

Unless you realize, that your writer's block is linked to a bigger problem like, avoidance, procrastination, or lack of confidence to name a few. If this is the case then you may need to look for professional help to cure your writer's block.

As for a guarantee, there isn't anything written in stone, on how you can get rid of writer's block. Each person is different, with different causes. Just experiment!!!

Good Luck!

Do You Submit Your Articles By Hand

Once I had to submit the articles that I wrote by hand. I had a spread sheet with all the directory web address, log-in info etc. And with a lot of copy & paste, I was able to get a few done each night. Till I started using a article submitter, cutting it down to half the time.

Wow. As a fiction writer who takes pride in originality and poetic vision, I scrambled here looking for tips on breaking writer's block. Yours is a very different approach, but a different problem!
