You see, over several years, in an effort to make money writing, I've tried almost everything. Writing articles. Writing web site content. Writing e-books. I even tried writing confession letters to popular magazines.

It took me years to gradually build up my writing business when I was still working in a full-time job. It always seemed like two steps forward then three steps back! But somehow it grew. Then, several years ago I quit my day job to start writing full-time as a writer. And that's when the hard work really started!

I had to grow my writing income because I was slowly using up my savings. I couldn't just keep writing the same thing, because it simply wasn't paying enough. I realized I had to diversify and discover some other ways to make money from my writing.

And my business grew. And grew. Last year I actually made more than I did during my old full-time management job.

And guess what?

I don't miss the commute to an office. I don't miss wearing a suit. And I definitely don't miss the old boss!

I play music whenever I want. And you know what else I do? If the day is really nice I head for the beach for an hour or two. And count my lucky stars that I have this lifestyle.

It might not be the typical writer's life, but it's a good one.

So let me ask you a question...
