Writing is one of the few remaining industries that is accessable and can lead to huge riches, just from you putting some time in. No special equipment is needed (computer or access to a computer makes things a lot easier) an idea and a little advice.

Getting one book published can give you a return for life, one has only to look at some of the authors on the best sellers list.

But getting a steady stream of works out there can pay dividents and the consistant revenue for the lifetime of the book, whether it be a fiction novel, travel guide, non-fiction or whatever.
