How to Make Money with Google Ads

Obviously, it would be nice if your Google ads could convince surfers to purchase something. The words that you use when writing Google ads are much more important than you think. The majority of people are seeking to get their problems solved. One such example of this is when you are selling a registry cleaner. People want to know whether or not the registry cleaner will remove all the ad-ware or spy-ware from their computer. They also want to know all the features, as well as the price. The biggest challenge for you as an advertiser is your limited space. In Google ads, the headline is only 25 characters, and the body is only 35 characters. Therefore, your goal has to be clear, simple and relevant.

The headline needs to contain the exact keywords on which you are bidding. This means that if you are bidding on the keyword phrase "slow computer", then your headline needs to contain those words. An example is something like "Fix Your Slow Computer" or "Why Your Computer Is Slow". Lots of people make a big mistake by writing the headline like "Get Spy Doctor Now", but you need to know that people who search for "slow computer" are always seeking information first and not a product review. Remember, your Google ads have to be relevant to what people really want. If your potential customers feel that the ad is truly relevant, then they will click your ads, and your CTR will increase.

After writing the headline, you still have two lines with which to sell your potential customer. When you think about that, if you are searching for something to buy, what would want to know next? You would want to know about the features of the product and whether it can fill your needs. Therefore, the second line of ads should be all write about the benefits. And if you are selling that registry cleaner, you need to provide information in the second line about how the registry cleaner will remove the virus. You could write something like "Speed Up Your PC & Stop Crashes" or "Safely improve PC performance" to let people know about what your product can do. Therefore, the second line of your ads needs to tell your potential customers how they would actually be helped by what you have written.

The last line in your ad should emphasize your offer or price. If you are selling an Amazon product for example, you can list something like "For Only $199 - Free Shipping". Just keep everything simple, and do not include any call to action phrase here.
In conclusion, a good ad needs to be clear, straightforward, interesting, customer-centered, and most importantly, relevant. Selling on the internet is just like selling in person. People will see that you are doing real business, and they will click and buy.
