Freelance Writing Online for Income
Freelance writing is a great tool while earning extra money money from home. There are multiple reasons for this including it can be fun, it helps expand your mind, it can pay the bills, and many others. However, the main reason freelance writing is a great way to work at home is it creates residual income. Residual Income is simply money that compounds on itself every month. That right there should be enough reason for many to pursue freelance writing.
eHow
How to do just about everything
eHow is a freelance writing site that pays its users to write strictly how to articles. Articles for eHow must be in a how to do something format in order for them to be acceptable. Although some may find this a bit restricting you can write an article on just about anything you want, as long as it is showing someone a step by step guide on how to do something. eHow allows people who consider themselves freelance writers to create residual income.Earning with eHow is fairly simple. You first sign up for the site itself then choose to join the writers compensation program. This program allows eHow members to earn money off of their articles. In order to receive the money you earned through your articles you must have a valid paypal account as well as reach a $10 minimum earnings setting. This $10 is not hard to earn and many do so within their first month on the site.
The eHow community is full of people who participate in freelance writing and is a great place to be if you are a freelance writer. There are many very experienced freelance writers on eHow that are more than willing to offer advice of any sort to new members or aspiring freelance writers.
Please feel free to take a look around eHow
Also, please take a look at my eHow blog
www.theehowblog.blogspot.com
This blog is meant to keep the members of eHow up to date with stuff going on at eHow, whether its special promotions, the member of the day, eHow ebooks, or earnings updates. Take a look, maybe click an add, help a guy out. But anyways take a look its a pretty cool blog.
Associated Content
Associated Content, known as AC to its users, is a writing site that differs from sites such as eHow. For one, AC does not strictly limit the type of writing its freelance writers pursue. Here freelance writers can write about anything they really want. Also, AC offers two types of ways to earn money through freelance writing. Performance Payments as well as upfront payments. Performance Payments are based on the amount of page views your articles generate. The going rate right about now is $1.50 per 1000 page views. So if you think your writing will generate enough buzz for those page views to climb AC is your bet.Besides the Performance Payments AC offers its users an alternative. You may, if you choose, sell the rights to your articles for a lump sum on top of the Performance Payments you will receive as well on top of that from that selected article. This can be a good option if you really do not care what happens to your work.
Bukisa

Bukisa is a similar site to Associated Content in that you get paid for articles on anything you want. It differs in so far that there is a much higher pay per 1000 page views rate. Right now the rate is $3.42 per 1000 page views. Although Bukisa is fairly new it is quickly gaining a fan base because of its high pay rate. I will keep this updated on how Bukisa is.

Helium
Helium is one of the older and well established writing sites on the web. This being said it can also be both one of the easiest and one of the hardest freelance writing sites on the internet to earn from. Helium has multiple aspects of this which is true.THE MARKETPLACE
The Helium marketplace is what separates Helium from most other writing sites. The Helium Marketplace is where publishers post work up for Helium writers. If you are a good writer then give it a shot. Many of these pieces are worth a minimum of $20 and most are worth close to $60. This is a great way to earn on Helium.
Besides the marketplace it is a little harder to earn on Helium. It is dependent on page views and ratings given by other members and people on the internet. I am still not %100 on this however so I will search around the web and keep you all updated.
Blogs
Making money with blogs is one of the many ways to earn money by writing. The main way to earn off of your blog is by the ads being served off of your blog. Google Adsense is the most popular one of these. These are the ads that the website owner displays up and down the side or on the top of the webpage to make money when people click them. Most adsense ads go hand in hand with the type of material on the blog. This in turn increases the chances people will click on the ads.How much will I earn?
Your earnings with adsense will differ depending pretty much on how many page views your blog gets along with how many clicks you get on your ads. So your earnings could be $1000 per month, they could also be 0. Chances are if you are just getting started you will be $0 per month. Earning with blogs will be slow however once it gets going it really gets going. The key here is to stick to it and everything will keep going. I myself bring in about $20 a month with blogs. Although this is not much it is a start. I have also just started a new blog please take a look
