MIU France 3-Piece Stainless Steel Dimpled Cocktail Shaker, 18-Ounces

Amazon Price: $20.99 (as of 02/17/2012)Buy Now

It's hard to make a cocktail without some tools of the trade and one of those tools is a great cocktail shaker. There are a couple of different type of cocktail shaker, this one contains a built in strainer which is fantastic.

The dimpled design brings back the elegance of the 1950s when martini's were all the rage. It is also a larger shaker which enables you to mix more than one cocktail at a time. This is great for both those intimate moments as well as when you have a houseful of guests.

White Stinger

3/4 shot white creme de menthe
3/4 shot white creme de cacao

8 parts cranberry juice

Put ice cubes into a highball glass, pour all of the ingredients in and stir.
Whether you fancy a Woo Woo or a Whisper the right glass always adds an extra special element to the cocktail which brings us right along to Libbey's 'Swerve' glasses.

Libbey 16-Piece Swerve Glassware Set

Amazon Price: $26.95 (as of 02/17/2012)Buy Now

This set includes 8 highball glasses as well as 8 old fashioned glasses, both are important glassware for the mixologist inside of us all. The swerve design is really cool and if you want to 'trick' your friends you could switch out their glasses from 'straight' to 'swerve' on their second drinks :)

These glasses always received flattering comments from guests and just take those delicious drinks that you have made to the next level.

3 Piece Bar Cocktail Shaker Kit

Amazon Price: $16.95 (as of 02/17/2012)Buy Now

This shaker is essentially two halfs which has the advantage of doubling up as a mixing glass when you wish to stir your cocktails instead of shaking them.

This set combines the Boston Shaker with a strainer which will help avoid any messes when trying to strain using just the two parts of the shaker.........it looks easy, but after the first few cocktails you will be happy you had a strainer :)

Yellow Fingers

Riedel Vinum Martini Glass, Set of 2

Amazon Price: $39.95 (as of 02/17/2012)Buy Now

A classic cocktail glass. What more can I say? These ones are a little smaller than some on the market, but they feel really good when holding them which is an important test for me.

These are Bavarian made by Riedel and because they contain more than 24% lead crystal they have excellent clarity. An affordable luxury.

Shake all of the ingredients together with ice, then strain into a cocktail glass.
