3 Red Lights On Xbox 360
Possible Problems
You can diagnose your 3 blinking lights yourself by following the instructions below:
1. Turn on the Xbox 360, and wait a few seconds for all the lights to flash.
2. Press and hold the Sync Button on the console (the small white one), and WHILE HOLDING, press the eject button.
3. The First Code Is Displayed In The Lights, write down which one lights up (refer below).
4. Release The Eject Button and press it again.
5. The LEDs will now blink the second code. Write This down. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 till you have all 4 codes.
6. The LED's will go back to all 3 lights flashing again.
You will be able to determine the difference between the 3 flashing lights and the error code lights by judging the rate in which they flash.
Here is how you can interpret the LEDs to get the code number:
* All four lights flashing = 0
* One light flashing = 1
* Two Lights flashing = 2
* Three Lights flashing = 3
