The Only Permanent Red Ring of Death Repair
Using an Xbox 360 fix guide has proven itself to be a reliable source of information to permanently repair the Xbox360 Red Ring of Death problem so many console owners seem to be having. I personally had never had any problems with my console until about 5 months or so ago, and when I did I had to find a working solution. I quickly learned the manufacturer wasn't reliable since there were many complaints about their technical service not repairing consoles. And then they were charging a $140 service fee that I would have had to have paid because my console is no longer under warranty.
To make a long story short I searched on YouTube for methods and most of these methods were just plain stupid; nothing looked legit and nothing was permanently repairing consoles. I eventually stumbled across some people discussing how they used an Xbox 360 fix guide to repair their consoles. I of course didn't know what that was so I went on a hunt for one of these guides. When I found it I was more than surprised at their claims.
Repair your Xbox 360 red ring of death in 1 hour guaranteed, was the claim being made by the fix it guide that I found. I immediately thought this was just a clever sales pitch ready to give me a huge scam. But on the site there were personal testimonials of people saying that it had worked for them and I thought of the people who were discussing it in the forum I was in. So I thought what the heck I'ma try it - it's only $29 and it says I can get my money back if it doesn't work. So I purchased the guide and Immediately started to see whether or not this was a legit method or not and I was pretty surprised.
Instead of finding another nonsensical method I was watching the developer of the repair guide fully illustrate how to repair the console as he repaired one of his own clients' systems on screen. Due to it's professional layout, quality video and very comprehensive instructions I watched all the videos all the way through. At the end the whole Red Ring of Death issue made absolute sense to me and I realized how easy this repair actually was just like this guy claimed on his website.

The Cause of the Red Ring of Death
Your Xbox 360, and all Xbox 360's suffer from an overheating problem. This problem went unacknowledged by the manufacturer who didn't realize of it's presence until some time after people all over started getting the Red Ring of Death.Basically what we have here is an overheating console that has internal parts that are not properly protected against the high temperatures in your 360. The Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) and Central Processing Unit (CPU) seem to be at the root of the problem along with the Heat Sinks which are responsible for protecting the GPU and CPU.
What happens is, when your console overheats the Heat Sinks fail to protect the GPU and CPU. The GPU and CPU which are supposed to be kept at a cool temperature end up being directly exposed to the heat in the console. This overheats these two important computer chips which then shut down the console. The GPU and CPU have to shut down the console because for one, they can't run under high temperature and two, if the console was allowed to run while it was overheating the GPU and CPU would become permanently damaged and you would end up loosing your console for good. So the GPU and CPU shutting themselves down is basically a protective measure the system takes to prevent further damage to your console.

How to Repair Your Console
So how do we stop this? It's simple. The guide shows that the chips are covered in a thermal paste that was originally designed to protect them from heat. This paste however was not designed for the extreme temperature that was not anticipated by the manufacturer. This leaves these chips directly vulnerable to overheating. The solution is to remove this old paste and apply a specific solution that the guide shows you that WILL properly protect the GPU and CPU from overheating. But there's one more problem. The GPU and CPU are supposed to be protected by the heat sinks, which were designed to keep these two computer chips cool. The problem here is that when the console overheats the motherboard eventually starts to bend. Over time this slowly throws the heat sinks out of balance and eventually leave the GPU and CPU directly exposed to heat. So in order to make sure the heat sinks stay in place, the guide show you how to make a simple modification using screws and washers that will ensure a stable foundation for the heat sinks. This makes sure they won't move and will always remain over the GPU and CPU, keeping them cool.
You might be surprised when I tell you that that is all there is to the repair. Without the use of that Xbox 360 fix guide I don't think I would have ever been able to fix my console. My system is running like a champ now and has had no issues what-so-ever. So if you are in the same position of needing a repair for the red ring of death, then I would highly advise the use of an Xbox 360 fix guide. This will show you everything that you need to do to properly repair your console for good.
