What do you think of Project Natal?
Have you even heard of Project Natal yet? I just learned about this awesome technology a couple of hours ago and I am totally blown away. I had never been turned on to the XBOX 360 in the past, but Project Natal is going to give me a reason to get one soon.
What is Project Natal?
Project Natal is Microsoft's answer to the Nintendo WII. This technology is totally interactive with the video game and allows for not only wireless game-play, but controllerless gameplay as well.
The possibilities for this technology are totally endless. I am a huge fan of the WII Fit, but I have been getting quite bored with the limited game-play that it offers at this point in time. Think of the cool workout and exercise games that can be produced using this technology. No more dance mats for DDR or boards for step aerobics. I could even see me getting into fighting games with this which I have never been a fan of before because the controller button combos are just too complicated. If I win at a fighting game, it's usually because I got lucky at button mashing.

There is one creepy thing about this technology and it's presented in this video. This gets us one step closer to AI or Artificial Intelligence. I'm not sure what to think about that.
