What happened, and how to fix it!

The Xbox 360 video game console is subject to a number of technical problems that can render it unusable. These problems are identified as "general hardware failures," and are indicated by three flashing red lights around the power button. Since its release in 2005, many articles have appeared in the media portraying the Xbox 360's relatively high failure rates. The three "flashing red lights" have been nicknamed in these articles, as well as by the general public, as the "Red Ring of Death" ("RROD") or less often as the "Red Light of Doom" ("RLOD").

OK, that is wikipedia's definition of the Red Ring of Death. No here's mine.

It's a bullsh*t malfunction that the warlords at Microsoft could have prevented with more testing before they released the xbox 360 console. But they were too busy having the heads up each other's collective butts!



I can't get started, or I'll rant forever. DONT WANT THE GATES POLICE BANGING DOWN MY DOOR!

The 3 light error, or Red Ring Of Death as it is so apptly named is caused by a high level of retardation in the system (did I say retard? Lord, I appologize).

1 red light - just general hardware failure, reset the game or look below.

2 red lights - overheating problem. Turn it off and let it sit til it cools off.

3 red lights - our friend, the Red Ring Of Death

4 red lights - the av cable is loose. Double check for a secure connection
