Ok guys enough talking about moving over to the PS3.If you serious and want to get back to gaming I'm going to give you the NO BS Xbox 360 Ring of Death fix so you can just get straight to fixing your Xbox 360 within an hour or so.

Well it depends if you want your Xbox 360 to work for a day or you want a bullet proof fix that you can just forget about ever having the Xbox 360 red ring of death?
I would think you just want it fixed and never have to deal with the Red Ring of Death ever again right!
Why Your Getting The Xbox 360 Red Ring of Death!
If you've noticed that the ring ring of death is just getting worse it because the new games have a high graphic demand and therefore making your Xbox 360 heat up and casuing the Xbox 360 Red Lights to flash!
The error has been pin pointed time and time again to the Xbox 360's motherboard, GPU and CPU. When the 360s motherboard gets really hot, it bends causing it to lose contact with the GPU and CPU. Once this happens it's game over.
Whats Microsoft Doing About This?
Your pretty much forced to pay the money or buy a new Xbox 360.
But those days are over. If you want to get your 360 back into action you have only 2 options.
1. Send it over to microsoft's customer support team and wait 4 weeks to get your console back, with yes, the same problem. Shell out $140 dollars and miss the new GTA launch!
2. Fix it yourself - It really is easy, any one can do it. You can easily be back to gaming in less than an hour, or 2 if you take your time with it... Don't worry you wont be soldering anything to your Xbox or doing something only pros can do... It's an average Joe's fix!

Just like the towel trick!
One day your blowing away your friends on Xbox Live when all of a sudden the 3 red lights start flashing like crazy and you get denied every time you try and restart it.
It's Not Your Fault
Skeptical? You should be, with tons of Xbox 360 repair sites promising to have you fix your Xbox 360 Red Ring of Death. I don't blame you.

You're Just Another Victim of Microsoft's Xbox 360 Red Ring of Death?
Xbox 360 Red Ring of Death!
Your Xbox 360 was fine one minute while you where blowing away charlies on Call of Duty 4?
When out of nowhere your screen started flickering you started hearing weird sounds come from your Xbox 360. So you restarted your Xbox 360 only to see the Xbox 360 Red Ring of Death flashing before your eyes...Nooooo (I know the feeling!)
And now your on the internet wanting to know how you can fix your Xbox 360 Red Ring of Death with having to shell out those $140.00 bucks to microsoft.
If you wanted to fix your Xbox 360 yourself, you have probably come accross some iffey methods that just seem like that would damage your Xbox 360 more than actually fix it.
For Example: The infamous "Towel Trick". Have you tried it? If you haven't pat yourself on the back , steer well clear of it.
"If you have, then you probably already know that the "Towel Trick" is more likely to set your Xbox 360 on fire than to fix it."
I mean, come on, who really believes that wrapping your Xbox 360 in a towel is going to fix a hardware problem on your Xbox 360 know as the Red Ring of Death
or the 3 red lights of death.
"If you have tried the Towel Fix then you know it plain out doesnt work and if it did you got no more then, lets say 5-10 whole minutes of game play... wooohoo and your back to sqaure 1"
It's just another internet myth!
Red Ring of Death Myth!
To believe you can crack open your Xbox 360 case and fix the problem yourself with a soldering iron is plain out crazy.
Their is really expensive equipment that professionals use to remove and re-apply solder balls to electronic equipment. It's not for a do it yourself home project!
The Xbox 360 is a serious piece of high tech equipment, not a toaster or a George Forman grill. You try the "solder" fix and what you're most likely to do is cause more damage. (then your really out of luck.) I guess you Xbox 360 could make a good paper weight!
So what does that leave you with?
Well, you could send it back off to Microsoft. But that's going to set you back $140 plus shipping with or without warranty. Your probably risking not getting your Xbox 360 back because of our great mailing system.
And you're not likely to see your console for 6 to 8 weeks, minimum. Doesn't that sound like a lot of money and fuss just to fix your Xbox 360 from the Red Ring Of Death?

- I have suffered the fate RROD and this was after warrenty expiration so I learned the hard way. Place your Xbox 360 on a piece of styrofoam. This will allow heat to escape. Always remove your disk before shutting off your console and if possible use multiple fans pointed at your xbox 360. This will ensure maximum cooling.

- you know guys the only reason getting RROD on xbox 360 because of overheating right. I used one method to really prevent it while playing lay the xbox 360 dvd style and put a electric fan on the other end opposite side of the console not where the hardrive is and turn it on it will make your 360 cool for hours doesnt matter how long you play.
