  • I know it sounds simple but just turn the console off and on again, a software reboot may get it going again

  • Make sure your xbox has loads of room around it and is well ventilated, don't forget about the power transformer this needs to be kept from overheating as well.

  • Try turning of the console and removing all the connected leads and power cords, when reconnecting them back make sure they are well seated in the sockets.

  • If you are using a power extension cord or surge protector, try the console in the mains outlet on its own to see if this is the problem.

  • Don't place any other electrical devices on top or beside your Xbox, we don't need any other heat around the console. Some people do stack their consoles on top of one another or even put a TV set on top of the Xbox
