Affiliate X Factor is the newest product from super affiliate marketer, Andrew Fox. Andrew's claim to fame in the affilaite marketing world is how he earned over $39,000 in commissions promoting "Day Job Killer".     I just got done watching the first video in the 6 video series of Affiliate X Factor. I love Andrew's approach to teaching. I purchased his "Dominating Clickbank" videos 2 years ago and found them very informative.

    The first video in this series did not disappoint. It was a bit repetitive for me because I have several years experience in internet marketing and I already know how to set up an auto responder. The interesting part was where you look over Andrew's shoulder as he does his market research and he shows you the criteria he uses to pick a target market. He then goes into how to set up a landing page (which includes a free template), and how to set up an auto responder, which is something I already had a good handle on.

    This is a must for those of you are just getting started in affiliate marketing. It will save you one hell of a learning curve and put you on the fast track to profits in a what has become a hyper competitive market. Click on the link or the banner in the intro of this lens.

    "Driving Traffic To Your Landing Page To Build Your List"

    The first video was a little repetitive for me because I was already familiar with a lot of the material that Andrew covered. Although I have had some experience using the techniques he covers in the second video, he goes into great detail and shows you exactly how he does it. The lesson clarified some things for me that I was not sure of. The methods that Andrew uses have been tried and tested and the proof is in the pudding. To help you even more, he gives you a landing page template that is the same basic one that he uses for his promotions.

    This is the age of Web 2.0. The internet is all about interaction. The popularity of sites like Facebook and Myspace are proof of this. Establishing a sense of belonging and community is critical to your success. Andrew goes into great detail on how to accomplish this.

    The fourth video should have been named Part B of the third. The third video takes you through the first 5 emails that you will send your prospects and this video covers the next 5 and what happens after that.

    Andrew takes each email and goes over the idiosyncrasies of each one. He not only shows you what to do, but explains why you are doing it and what effect it will have on your prospects. The entire process is about establishing yourself as an authoritative figure and building the trust and respect of your subscribers.

    When you finally make a recommendation, your prospects will actually act on it. Andrew proves this by letting you peek into his Aweber account and look at the statistics of his test list. The industry standards for email opens and click through rates are normally 2%-3%. 5% is considered great.

    Andrew was getting over a 36% open rate and had more click throughs than opens. That means that people were coming back to the same email and clicking on the link more than once. That is incredible.
