House Special Sizzling
Xing's Panda Palace - House Special Sizzling - Dad and Adam's Favorite
Over the years we have tried many of the offerings at Xing's Panda Palace. I'll be telling you what we consider to be the best dishes, the first one being House Special Sizzling.This is a delightful mixture of shrimps, scallops, beef, mushrooms, broccoli, pea pods, baby corn, onions and a delicious brown sauce. The waiter brings out a hot metal platter with onions on it. He then empties a bowl with the rest of the ingredients onto the platter and it sizzles and steams at your table, like fajitas in a Mexican restaurant. If you are there for lunch then you may want to try the Triple Delight lunch special. It is very similar. The House Special Sizzling at Xing's Panda Palace is my husband's favorite and one of my sons likes it too.

Xing's Panda Palace - Everyone loves the Fried Rice!
We always get the House Special Fried Rice at Xing's Panda Palace. It is filled with shrimps, onions, pork, chicken, carrots and peas and goes great with all the other dishes. It is good enough to stand on it's own too if you just love fried rice!Photo from the Xing's Panda Palace Website

The House Special Egg Fu Young is one of our most favorite dishes at Xing's Panda Palace. Filled with shrimp, bean sprouts and other vegetables, it is simply delicious. Many times we will get an order of House Special Egg Fu Young to take home for a great meal at a later time. My husband and I will split the order unless one of us gets to it first!

Sweet and Sour Chicken is the favorite of one of my sons and sometimes I order the Sweet and Sour Shrimp. The batter is nice and light and both are very good.

Crispy Prawns with Walnuts
Xing's Panda Palace - Crispy Prawns with Walnuts - Mom's Favorite
Crispy Prawns with Walnuts is probably my favorite dish at Xing's Panda Palace. The prawns are a nice size and deep fried in a light batter. It is served with a creamy honey sauce, fresh steamed broccoli and topped with walnuts. It is garnished with a beautiful red vegetable flower. This dish does not keep well for taking home so we make sure we eat it there. It is a sweet dish so we order it as a kind of dessert and we all share it.If you are at Xing's Panda Palace for lunch, they sometimes have Coconut Prawns as the lunch special. This is very similar to Crispy Prawns with Walnuts but less expensive and a bit smaller. Both are truly excellent!

Egg Rolls are great at Xing's Panda Palace! We all love them!
Some of the specials come with egg rolls or you can order them on the side. They are served with hot mustard (yum!) and a sweet sauce.

Egg Drop Soup
A Panda Palace Favorite - We all concur that the Egg Drop Soup is Great!
Egg Drop Soup comes with some of the combination plates at Xing's Panda Palace. It is so flavorful and rich! Their Egg Drop Soup is always good but we especially enjoy it on a cold rainy day which happens often in the winter time here in Bellingham.

These are the dishes that we love at Xing's Panda Palace. You may have noticed that many of our favorite dishes contain shrimp. This is because the Panda Palace uses good quality shrimp. The shrimp is a good size and they serve a generous portion. They really know how to do shrimp!
