Homeschoolers (sometimes called "un-schoolers") have a wide variety of ways that they address the educational needs of their kids. "Education" is not synonymous with "School" and vice versa. Just because you are not in "school" does not mean that you aren't learning anything. Likewise, there's no guarantee that you will learn anything much in school. Some of my other lenses address the "curriculum" and other aspects of homeschooling. This lens will try to provide some ideas for Physical Fitness for homeschoolers. Sometimes you don't need a "school gym" or going to an indoor "health club" for getting and staying physically fit when there's snow on the ground and it's too cold for jogging or swimming or hiking). There are Alternatives! If you combine the "alternatives" with some fun music or video enhancement, as well as going on healthy exercise activities such as snow-skiing, snow-boarding, surfing (warmer areas, obviously), martial arts, dancing, or even dog-walking, you can keep reasonably fit without too much pain.
