One proven and validated series of apparitions (Rwanda) had messages that were terrifying when told, horrifying when they came to pass.  The Fatima apparitions predicted another  world war, even though WWI was supposed to be the 'war to end all wars'.'  In these apparitions, Mary predicted the spreading of the errors of communism, if mankind didn't turn to God and renounce sin. We did, in fact, have another world war after the first one, and more besides. While communism seemed to have fallen discredited, it was not eliminated, but has since grown in power and wealth all throughout the world.  The terrors of this century just past were unprecedented in human history, and we're rapidly heading into worse. In places all over the globe, Our Lady is working very hard to get our attention.  We owe it to ourselves and each other to at least take an intelligent look at some very stunning phenomenon.  Why on earth are  these things going on?
