Squidoo: Basic HTML for Squidoo

You can use basic HTML in a few of the lens modules. Mostly used to create hyperlinks (they are the "live links" to other sites). Though there are also other uses for HTML. If you find yourself in need of quick tutorial on how to do it, here it is! Being able to grasp this skill (or adding it to favorites so it's only a quick click away) will take your Squidoo Lensmastering talents from beginner to intermediate.

A fantastic list of HTML Colors

It took a little playing around, but I've made a color list that is no longer linked but presented in the lens itself and demonstrates what the colors look like as well as making it easy for Lensmasters to copy and paste.

I felt it was a too long to use in either the Basic HTML or Advanced HTML lens so I've split it and made HTML Tips for Color. That way people can keep it open for quick access rather than scrolling up and down. Check it out

You can remove the underline from hyperlinks

While I prefer seeing the underline as it makes it completely obvious to the most newbish of Internet surfers, there may be some for whatever reason who will find removing the underline to be more beneficial (come to think of it, Source links would probably look good without the underline).

The little piece of HTML to make this possible can now be found at Basic HTML for Squidoo under "Removing the underline from Hyperlinks".
