These beautiful creations made of wool felt are famous among doll collectors for their unparalled level of skill and design. In the 1920's and 30's, Lenci dolls were the toys of the rich and famous. Now they are prized collector's items. The picture on the left shows a 300 series Lenci doll boy doll. His face is made of molded wool felt, which as been pressed into shape using a specially designed steam press. The features are carefully painted in oil paints. The hair is of mohair which has been rooted in strands.

The Lenci company also produced fine ceramic figurines.
