From gardening tips to travel information or from support groups to politics, there are social networks on the web where you can communicate with people of like interests. Examples are Myspace, Facebook and Linkedin. Your sphere of influence is no longer limited by geography. The diversity of available sites has moved social networking into the mainstream.
