A WHOLE NEW WAY TO GIVE GlobalGiving puts you in touch with projects you might not otherwise find. All of our projects are being run by people who have seen a need in their community and are taking action. They are do-gooders to the core. Every one of our more than 400 projects is centered around an earth-changing idea. When project leaders, these do-gooders, use creativity and ingenuity to come with a solution to the challenges their community is facing, they find that a small change make a huge difference. And you can help! What does that mean? Here are a couple examples of projects you can support through GlobalGiving: - Project 825 teaches nurses to ride motorcycles so they can reach farflung villages in Zimbabwe where the villagers would otherwise have no access to health care. - Project 1493 gives a family in Nepal a pig so they will have a steady income and will not need to sell their daughters into bonded labor to survive. We make sure that your donation goes where you want it to, safely. We also let you know how your money was used by regularly posting progress reports written by our project leaders.
