So I went on the Internet and came across a business opportunity. I had some big dreams and hoped that MLM would be the answer. I was taught to follow the system, invest in advertising, buy leads, put business cards on peoples cars. I was told the more I advertise the faster my business would grow. My up-line explained that you need to "Go Big, or Go home". Hmmm. Well I went big and found temporary success. I found after 4 1/2 years I was tired of working so hard, tired of the hype but the thing that really hurt was I realized that most of my down-line had quit or was going to quit. So I went and interviewed them. I was shocked at what I found out. I found out that most people not only failed, but were worse off then when they started. Most people were at least 10K in the hole some even more. Not only did I feel like a failure, but I felt responsible for my team. This was when I knew that I had been sucked into the hype and was blind. Well the blinders were off and it became my passion to figure this MLM thing out. I wanted to help people be successful. My passion is to help others and make sure no one gets hurt like me and my team. I began looking for answer and came across a free e-book called Success in 10 Steps by Michael Dlouhy. It made so much sense to me. I got in contact with Bruce the person who introduced me to the book and he told me about Mentoring for Free and about how it is a group of people who help each other grow their MLM business and they do it for free.
