Nigella, whose name means &amp;amp;quot;love-in-a-mist&amp;amp;quot;, started out as a freelance food writer in the U.K. In 1998 she published, How to Eat: The pleasures and principles of good food. The successful book led to her equally successful television series, Nigella Bites where she cooked up a storm. Numerous books and television shows followed. Although the face of television has been slow to change it's nice to see it is improving. It couldn't have picked a better face, personality or talented chef to start off with.</description>
