Not since the 1980's, when I participated in ACT-UP LA, have I seen such an explosion of awareness and participation in a political/social movement like Occupy Wall Street! Having marched in ACT-UP LA demonstrations, camped out and faced police with gloved hands gripping batons, I remember how important it was to display publicly, my solidarity with that movement. Consequently, I have created an online shop entitled, "Aladdin's Lamp Gifts" which produces upfront, in your face, and sometimes humorous (the BEST way to get a point across) political statements on items ranging from sweatshirts and t-shirts to stickers, skins, signs, banners, water bottles and coffee mugs.
