Squidoo: Victoria Wood Video Showcase

British comedienne Victoria Wood could always make me laugh out loud! I have loved her observational and parodic humour since first seeing her some time ago.

She is perhaps not as media visible these days, but her wit has stood and still stands the test of time. She is not so well-known outside of the UK and some of its former colonies, mainly due to her specific British humour, but anyone watching her can pick up the observations of British society, class and everyday life. ...

One of her funniest sketches, in my honest opinion, is included on this page - "Two Soups". While she does not appear in it herself, her cohort Julie Walters takes central stage as the aging waitress waiting on two customers, who can barely keep a straight face themselves.

For those of you who know Ms. Wood, enjoy again these wonderful sketches and for those of you who don't know her, I hope you too will laugh out loud!
