Only to go back over them with my bounty hunter and find stuff I missed with the whites more expensive model! " Go figure that!!" Now, i'm not knocking any of the Whites detectors or AV Series or even Garret for that matter... They are all good detectors. But, quite honestly for my money the Bounty Hunter Tracker 4 is a way better detector for my money, especially for a beginner and it's user friendly controls will have you finding all kinds of stuff in no time! I bought my Grandson one for Christmas on Ebay during an auction. He would go out with me almost every week-end and comb through the beaches and wooded areas of where we live and help me dig for treasure, and always be amazed at some of the stuff we found! So, I thought buying this would be a perfect gift for him.Now, that he has one of his own... I have to dig for all my stuff on my own LOL :-). But, thats quite OK... He has definately earned one of his very own! Just last week-end he ended up finding a Gold Bracelet in the sand! He was so "excited!" he gave it to his mom as a anytime gift she was quite surprised.Needles to say, I have a partner for life now... So, if any of you are looking to get into this hobby... And this may be your first time Metal Detecting! What I would suggest is that you do some research on the type of metal detector you want and way the pros and cons of each one and you will do fine! But, my money is on the Bounty Hunter Tracker 4. Your only task now is to decide on where to go looking for that buried treasure. Making the right choice when starting any hobby is important.
